"IN THE WILD" VBS
VBS 2019 will be August 12-16 for children who have completed JK through grade 7. Our full-day program runs from 9:00am – 4:00pm. The cost for the week this year will be $100 per child, for the FULL DAY. If you prefer for your child to join the program for the morning only (9:00am – 12:00), the cost will be $40 for the week.
This year we have registration online! You will be required to fill in all your child’s information and select their choices for the three afternoon electives. Classes fill up quickly!

Please note that you will need to pay online by credit card or visa-debit in order for registration to be complete. If you are unable to do so, please contact the church office to register and pay in person.
Below, you will find the descriptions for each elective. Please look these over with your child(ren) ahead so they know what the choices are. Spaces are limited, so it is good to have your child(ren) with you when you register, in case they need to make an alternate choice of elective.
Afternoon Electives
ELECTIVE DESCRIPTIONS:
Art Unleashed!
Walk on the wild side of animal art. We will hoot, roar and claw through cool art subjects like cave paintings, fauvism and even art done by animals. Get ready to unleash your creativity.
Ball Hockey
Come and learn some basic hockey skills and be ready to put them to the test as you face off for VBS Ball Hockey bragging rights. You should bring your own stick if you have one.
Cool Chemistry Stuff
Become a scientist and join in as we ask intriguing questions, conduct fun experiments and make some cool discoveries.
Electronic Circuits and Coding (grades 3-7)
This elective is an opportunity for you to learn about electronic circuits and programming through hands-on activities.
Fun & Games
Join us for a variety of fun games and activities. Something different every day!
Soccer Skills
Soccer Skills will help kids learn more about soccer through drills and fun activities. We will end each session with a practice game.
