"Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord"  Ephesians 5:19

KBC Worship Ministry

Why worship?

"...Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord" - Ephesians 5:19

Worship is not just music, but a daily attitude throughout our lives. As Christians, we believe that worship should be at the heart of all we say, think and do. Music and song are just some of the ways we can express worship and praise to God. We want to cultivate a culture of worship that overflows into our daily lives, into our schools, workplaces and homes.

what we do

We think carefully about how music and other activities can help us set our minds and hearts on God. Currently, we are exploring new opportunities as we record music for the online service. This serves as an exciting opportunity to share the good news of Jesus through our music online. We also lead worship at the KBC during the in-person service too, as we gather together at the church building.

want to get involved?

Do you love to worship through music? Are you musical? Do you want to encourage the church through your gifts?

We are inviting those in the church who wish to become involved in music, either in-person or online. There are various opportunities in how to get involved; for example you may wish to share a short video for the online service (you could share a song that's encouraged you, a bible verse, or even a poem). Worship takes many shapes and forms and despite being distanced - this unique time provides an opportunity for us to share and encourage one another even in current circumstances. For those who are able to play with the music team at the in-person service, we would also love to hear from you.

At KBC, we miss singing together. Thankfully there are ways we can encourage one another through music at KBC either in-person or online. Please contact Sam Kapasa at worship@kingbiblechurch.com if you’re interested.
