COVID-19

Info on what it's like back in person & our safety procedures. We can't wait to see you soon!

Update from the KBC Elders

In recent days, the messaging from our provincial health officials is the recommendation to wear masks in all indoor public spaces. While at this time KBC will not be mandating the use of masks to attend services and ministry events, we would highly recommend their use when attending our public gatherings. Also, along with the use of masks, we would ask that anyone experiencing, even mild COVID-19-like symptoms to please not attend any in-person gatherings, and follow the guidelines set out by Ontario Health.

As you are well aware, provincial health officials have confirmed that we are in, yet another wave of the COVID-19 pandemic with a variant that seems to be highly transmissible. The Elders have been seeking to keep up-to-date on the current provincial health recommendations and guidelines in order to do our part in providing a safe place to gather.

Should you have any questions or comments, please feel free to speak with one of the Elders.

We need your help to stay safe

1) We need you to please be gracious and commit to following the various guidelines that we have had to put in place to ensure everyone's health and safety. Masks will be required as well as sanitising your hands upon arrival.

2) Your children are very welcome to attend these services. We know that your kids will have wiggles, or need something quiet to fiddle with, and may make a little noise; but that's all part of being a church family together. We have in person Sunday School each week. The children will be near the beginning of the service to join their teachers downstairs. We require them to wear their masks.

FAQs

What if you're not ready to return to in-person gatherings?

If you are not yet ready to return to in-person gatherings, the service in its entirety will be recorded and posted on our Facebook page and YouTube channel for you to enjoy. As well, during the weeks we are not gathering in person, we will continue to meet online Sundays at 10:30 am available through Facebook and YouTube.

What about other ministries?

Though we have to physically distance, we don't want to socially distance from one another. We are a community and are continuing ministries online. To find out what's on at KBC, check out our calendar and subscribe, or sign up to our newsletter.
